Well…..Merry Christmas to all……that’s right….I just said “Merry Christmas.” Now that I have offended one or two of you…..let’s get on to this week’s blog…

Now…there have been a few times in my life where I have had amazing paradigm shifts…where my world gets rocked and life takes on a whole new meaning…or my life looks so different that I realize my approach has to change hence….my direction.

Well….I had another one.

I went to an event (Maui Mastermind…..www.mauimillionaires.com) and spent a week with the most amazing group of individuals that I cannot wait to see them again…and yes….I mean it!

I learned a powerful concept… that I did NOT learn at the event per se…I did not learn it from someone, BUT…..I observed it….and then I experienced myself…..and now I want to share with you….the power of what I call Wealth Lifeline™.

“Well Rob…what the heck is a Wealth Lifeline?”

I am so glad you asked….Wealth Lines are meaningful, profitable, win-win relationships with key individuals. Wealth Lifelines are much much more than just relationships and much deeper than “networking.”

Wealth Lifeline is a key that opens a door to new opportunities, new experiences, new individuals, new knowledge, new wealth, and sought after answers…that were not available to you before. In some cases….you had no idea the possibilities existed. The Wealth Lifeline gives you access to everything you will ever need if you are willing to receive it. And…just incase you were wondering….the more Wealth Lifelines you have…..well…you get the point.

In order to have Wealth Lifelines….you have to build them…..which is not at all easy and in most cases goes against your natural existence.

There are three keys to building Wealth Lifelines…..

Giving
Receiving
Nurturing

There are two guiding principles that support the key concepts above:
a. Commitment….you have to be committed to the process….you must play “full out” in order to reap the reward of Wealth Lifelines. If you do not play “full out” ….you are wasting your time…and you may burn bridges instead of building them.
b. Do what you say you are going to do….in other words follow through with whatever you say you will do. Whether you are going to email them information, put them in contact with someone…whatever it is…follow through on it

The concept of Wealth Lifelines is taking the concept of networking to a whole new level. When most people think of networking….it is usually….shaking hands and exchanging cards…that is it…and that is how I used to play as well. It is like going to a seminar and sleeping through it. It is like buying a book and not reading it….I hope I got the point across.

GIVING

I am not talking about giving in the sense of charity. I am talking about giving yourself to the fullest extent to those who are in front of you. In other words, putting aside your ego and pride will allow you to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is a gift to whom you are speaking because they in turn can speak freely….another way to look at this is the gift of vulnerability lets the other person “off the hook” from matching your ego blow by blow. Along with vulnerability, total attention, total interest, and total acceptance are a holistic approach to giving…..giving of yourself.

Being present…not acting like you are interested….but sincerely having interest in all individuals in your presence. This means ignoring your perceptions and putting your prejudices aside in order to open your mind and your heart to the individual(s) in front of you. Giving allows your mind to see and accept people as what they are….God’s creation ….hence…they are on an equal level as you….then humility sets in. Humility….wow….how nice is it to talk to a humble human being? Well…I have caught myself being an arrogant jerk….but let’s leave that for another blog.

When you give yourself openly and sincerely….you invite people into your life….you invite them into your circle of influence. Giving of “you” is the first key to building Wealth Lifelines.

The beauty of giving…is that it helps the person(s) in front of you to bring their guard down…or, in other words, to be vulnerable. Vulnerability is what let’s the conversation become deeper. Here is where the magic happens between human beings. Giving allows the conversation to move from “shooting the breeze” to an atmosphere of deep sharing…hence a below the surface relationship…a connection.

RECEIVING

Receiving, in my opinion, is the most powerful of the key concepts. When you give of yourself…..get ready to receive. The “deep sharing” that I mention above allows a giving that goes both ways. Follow me here……You give first….then giving starts to return to you.

If you make a concerted effort to receive what that individual has to offer….you will receive what is being offered….you will receive this person into your world and vice versa. This is powerful. How many times have you been in a conversation…then you mention an issue or situation your are dealing with…then all of sudden you start getting a lot of advice….advice you really do not care to get…all of a sudden your attitude changes….and without being obvious, you reject what you are hearing. Any chance of moving the conversation to a deeper level is removed. What if…you had an open mind and open heart to what you are hearing….and started to discuss the possibilities…or try to see the advice from a different perspective? All of a sudden you start to receive..not so much what the person has to say….but you start to receive the person as a whole into your life….by doing this…you are building a relationship, increasing your influence…building your Wealth Lifeline.

Every time you meet someone new….you have an opportunity change your life, enhance your life, change someone else’s life, and overall….add richness to your life. The result of having a large number of Wealth Lifelines that are nutured….you will have a very meaningful and wealthy life.

Nurturing

Nurturing is continuing the power of the Wealth Lifeline. Like a marriage, like a partnership…like all relationships….nurturing is required. That means having a reason to follow up with individuals and following up often.

It is important that as you give…then receive….that during the conversation there is a strong reason to connect again…and hopefully connect soon. The power of the Wealth Lifeline is that the exchange of business cards has a whole new meaning….now it has a definite purpose for you to take action in the future. The “reason” will allow another opportunity for a deeper, meaningful conversation and resulting in a strengthening of your Wealth Lifeline.

Growing your Wealth Lifelines will result in new opportunities, meaningful relationships, incredible advice, higher level of creativity, and exposure to new possibilities. All of these results will lead to a very important result….the bottom line. I believe Wealth Lifelines will increase your net worth dramatically. So much so that I include Wealth Lifelines is a important part of the Freedom Wealth Formula ™.

One more thing…..

Think of a Wealth Lifeline as the ultimate multi-level marketing business. As your Wealth Lifeline grows….so does your circle of influence. As your nurture your Wealth Life lines….your Wealth Lifelines will grow without your direct participation. In other words…”you” will get around via word of mouth! There is another discussion here that is needed to elaborate….which relies heavily on your core values and integrity…BUT…what I am trying to say is…your Wealth Lifelines will spread the word for you….good or bad. If “bad” then you do not have Wealth Lifelines. I hope I make sense…
